European Viking Bronze Omega Penannular Brooch
Item Description
C. 9th – 11th century AD
A Viking bronze omega penannular brooch with two trapezoidal plate finials decorated with a granulated geometric design. It has a free-moving pin, with a plain reverse.
A little misshaped with some green surfaces deposits otherwise intact with good detail.
Provenance: Manchester Collection, collected in the 1990’s.
