C. 2nd Century AD

A Romano-British bronze square shaped plate brooch, consisting of four zoomorphic terminals with incised ring and dot pattern surrounding the central raised square boss, inlaid with white enamel.

Although pin is missing it has good detail and an even black patina.

Found Lincolnshire.

Provenance: Ex A. Gillis Coins. Ex UK Collection collected in the 1990’s.
