A beautiful silver legionary eagle with incised detail.
In ancient Rome, the eagle (Aquila) was a prominent symbol especially as the standard of a Roman legion, which represented power and courage. Jupiter, the king of the gods and the sky, uses the eagle and thunder bolt as his symbols.
Intact with chip to edge of central discus, good, super detail and a large size.
