Roman Bronze Enamelled Zoomorphic Brooch
Item Description
C. 1st-2nd century AD
A fine example of a bronze enamelled brooch, decorated with a circular panel of red enamel that forms the bow. It also features eight panels which form a circular ring with a smaller ring to the centre of light blue enamel. The bow leads down to a zoomorphic foot with incised detail.
Pin missing otherwise a nice carvings and a good amount of enamel remaining.
