C. 1st-2nd century AD

A nice bronze applique/mount bust of Diana, goddess of hunting, daughter of Jupiter and the twin sister of the sun god, Apollo. She is depicting wearing a draped chiton, with the top of a quiver over her right shoulder. Her head is turned to the left, with her hair pulled up with wonderful incised detailing.

Even dark patina with some green surface deposits and good clear detail.
