An interesting and finely decorated page from a Medieval bible, which is written in a Medieval and Renaissance Gothic book hand-script called as ‘letter bâtarde’. The page features two columns of 43 lines of text and is highlighted with opulent liquid gold, red and blue pigments.
Excellent condition and a rare example of a leaf produced in Britain.
