Luristan Bronze Short Sword
Item Description
C. 1000- 650 BC
A Luristan bronze short-sword with a raised midrib running along the centre of the triangular blade, and tapers towards the sharp point. It features wide, rounded shoulders and a short tang pierced for attachment to a hilt.
Slightly chipped edges to blade with earthy surface deposits otherwise good condition. Stand included.
