Large Egyptian Faience Blue/Green Glazed Shabti
Item Description
C. 1292-1069 BC – New Kingdom Period – Ramesses
A large blue and green glazed faience shabti showing arms folded holding a hoe and wearing a tripartite wig. Implements, facial features and hieroglyphs running down the front of the shabti are painted black.
Although repaired, it is a good interesting shabti.
Provenance: From a UK private collection formed in the 1970’s.
