Greek Terracotta Xenon Miniature Kantharos

C. 400-350 BC
A fine example of a Greek, Xenon miniature terracotta kantharos with two strap handles. It is decorated with a row of light orange painted intertwined decoration and chevrons to one side, while the other side depicts a stylised palmette with two orange painted parallel lines below. It features a squatted ring foot, and a bowl-like body with a large mouth and an everted rim.
Small chip to foot rim otherwise in excellent condition with a glossy black glaze and good detail.
