C. 1500-300 BC – New Kingdom to Ptolemaic period

A beautiful pair of ancient Egyptian restrung, double hoop earrings and bracelet. The bracelet is restrung with a modern silver plated screw clasp, consisting of small flattened disc-shaped faience beads, in black, red, yellow, green and blue typical of the New Kingdom Period.

Faience is a glazed ceramic, produced from quartz or sand crystals mixed with other compounds. It produces vibrant colours and is finished with an alkaline glaze to surface. The Egyptians believe faience represents immortality and rebirth.

A pair of beautifully, restrung, wearable earrings and bracelet, both with modern clasps and a nice selection of ancient Egyptian beads.
