A nice example of a red Nabatean single handled vessel, with a globular body and a wide rim. It is beautifully decorated with floral and foliage patterns in black pigment.
A few surface marks, with good strong colour and detail. In excellent condition with some light earthy surface deposits. Extremely rare.
Provenance: Acquired prior to 1988. From an important deceased gentleman’s collection, by descent.
