Bronze Age Flat Axe Head

C. 1800 BC
A nice example of a flat axe head with an extended curved cutting edge, round butt and bevelled face. This flat axe would have been used in battle but mainly for domestic use such as clearing woodland etc.
Nice smooth dark brown patina with old collection labels affixed.
