C. 6th century AD
A fine example of a bronze cruciform brooch of fine quality. It features an integral top & side with semi-circular knobs and moulded collars. It has short wings and a high arched bow with a central groove and faceted corners, with a fine zoomorphic foot.
Even smooth, dark patina and of fine quality.
Provenance: M. O’Bee Collection, found in Lincolnshire in the 1970’s.
