Roman Fusiform Glass Bottle
Item Description
C. 4th century AD
An interesting pale green glass fusiform bottle with an everted rim and a small mouth, with a tall cylindrical neck. It has a bi-conical mid-section to body with a rounded base.
Small chip to base otherwise intact with some light earthy surface deposits and some light iridescence.
Provenance: Property of a private collector aquired before 1975.
