Roman Bronze Enamelled Hare Brooch
Item Description
C. 2nd century AD
A flat bronze enamelled brooch of a hare with long ears and a downward sloping tail. The hare was a very common animal to be shown on Romano-British brooches.
Although the enamel has bubbled it is intact and complete with original pin.
