SCARCE Egyptian Blue Glazed Faience Leopard Head Bead
Item Description
C. 713-332 BC – Dynasty 26–30 – Late Period
An interesting blue glazed faience bead in the form of a head of a leopard, pierced longitudinally.
Small mark to head with some earthy surface deposits otherwise a good blue glaze and SCARCE.
Provenance: Cambridge gentleman collection, collected in the 1990’s.
