Small Samian Ware Terracotta Dish With Maker’s Mark

Item Description

C. 1st-2nd century AD

A small terra sigillata or samian ware dish with an orange/red slip, with vertical ribbed decoration to the upright rim. It has a small ring foot with impressed maker’s mark to centre.

Minor nick to rim with some earthy surface deposits and intact.
