Roman Ribbed Glass Sprinkler Flask With Iridescence
Item Description
C. 4th century AD
A nice Roman glass sprinkler flask with a globular body with vertical ribbing. It has a short wide neck leading to a flaring mouth, with nice iridescence to surfaces. It also has a small inner-disk at the bottom of the neck with a small hole to allow precious liquids to be used sparingly. The liquid would most likely have been perfumed oil for beautification.
