Greek South Italian Terracotta Gnathian Skyphos

C. 4th century BC
A South Italian Gnathian twin handled black ware skyphos, with a tapering body and small foot. It displays typical features of Gnathian style with bands of ovolo decoration to the rim, bordered by two incised parallel lines, followed by a row of circular motifs below. The body is also decorated with a grapevine pattern in yellow, with the other side depicting two bands with circular motifs.
In excellent condition with good detail and a glossy, black background.
