A Roman terracotta fragment of a bottle neck decorated with the youthful bust of Satyr/Faun (part human part goat).
Although a fragment and repaired, it is has good detail.
Provenance: Deceased Estate of an East Anglian school teacher who later retired to the Isle of Wight. A keen collector and antiquarian who amassed a collection between the 1960’s-1980’s.
