C. 713-332 BC – Late Period

A flat deep blue/purple lapis lazuli Isis Knot also known as the girdle of Isis. The knot is associated with Isis, sister-wife of the ruler of the dead, Osiris.

Intact with some earthy surface deposits and strong colour.
